The Fairy Queen

I was recently rereading some of my poems and I realized I had not put up any poems recently and this is called Poetry from Heather so here goes:

The fairy queen could be seen
floating over the sea
oh, could it really be
that she loved the sun
who was on the run
slowly dipping and slipping
past the waves and white caps
to take his daily nap
far below on the ocean floor
oh, what was in store
for this lovely pair
to happy to ever think of despair
only time will tell if this love spell
will last the test of time and linger
beyond thier eternal rest.
